Powell Valley Electric Co-Op

Powell Valley Electric Cooperative is a consumer-owned utility that provides electric service to over 32,000 consumers in northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia. PVEC maintains more than 3,500 miles of line.

Electric co-ops like Powell Valley are owned by the consumers, or members, we serve. Members elect board members to represent their interests and set policy and procedures for our co-op.

Powell Valley is a not-for-profit utility
We exist to serve our communities instead of shareholders. Powell Valley distributes and sells affordable energy and invests any excess revenue back into the electric system.
